Important Dates

Throughout the tax year in California, there are several important dates that are important to know about.

Below are the most common deadlines and due dates that our clients should be aware of when dealing with tax assessment and payment.  Of course, if you have any questions or concerns, please call our offices at (760) 929-0059 to discuss these dates with one of our agents.

   

November 1

The first installment of real estate tax is DUE.

November 30

Last day to file an Assessment Appeal Application for reduction of the regular tax assessment.

December 30

The first installment of real estate tax is DELINQUENT after 5:00 PM.

January 1

The is the Lien Date (as of date of value January 1, 2010) for all taxable property for the fiscal year 2010-2011.

February 1

The second installment of real estate tax is DUE.
